It's Tiara Time!

Carnival is well underway! The parades have started, and next weekend is the big push to Mardi Gras.
Out come the the tiaras and crowns because everybody can be royalty in New Orleans during Carnival.

What's the difference between a tiara and a crown or even a diadem?

You can buy a replica of any of the tiaras, crowns, or diadems Audrey Hepburn wore at Tiara Town HERE

I love this crown in this piece of art done by Anne Harwell of Annechovie
You can get it at her Etsy shop.

And here's my motley collection. I think I'll wear one today!

Visual Vamp collection of tiaras

Happy Weekend!

My daughter wore a tiara for her first communion, I love the elegance they convey! Love your collection and Anne's art too.

Yup! The silver one for me-I guess we'll need to take turns. Wear it well- we all need to feel like royalty at one time or another...even if it's self-imposed! Have a terrific day your Highness.

Every gal deserves a tiara or two. I loved this post, something about crowns that is so amazing. I'll never forget seeing the Royal family's jewels in London and in Edinburgh. To pop one of the delights on your head must transform anyone to feeling like royalty. Let the fun being in NOLA!!

Rooting for the Saints tonight xoxo
