Farewell Merce Cunningham
Merce Cunningham citizen of New York, vanguard choreographer, flawless dancer, and so much more, died yesterday at age 90.
If you studied dance in New York you eventually took class at the Cunningham studio (and I did). His vision for dance and music was profound and exhilarating.

Fascinating article in your link. Of course I had no idea who he was, so thanks to you I've learned something today about this groundbreaking dancer. And my goodness, what a mind he had! His ability to visualize space and movement and to retain information must have been amazing.
