Bryan Batt: Life After Sal

Say it isn't so. Bryan Batt's character Salvatore Romano is not coming back for season 4 of Mad Men.

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner makes it sound even more dire: "We don’t murder people on our show, but for there to be any stakes, there have to be consequences ... I know how people felt about Bryan. I obviously love working with him, and he has been an indelible character since the pilot. But I felt it was an expression of the times that he couldn’t work there anymore. It’s the ultimate case of sexual harassment."

Bummer.

I am so sad he's not coming back to the show. He was so good on it. I was so sad he wasn't one of the chosen few at the end of last season.

But, in real life, it looks like he's doing fabulous. Thanks for sharing all the photos and information.

Waah! I'll miss Sal. Couldn't they have another cast member run into him somewhere so that we could get an update on him?
I met Bryan Batt at Hazelnut, he's a doll and a natural retailer too. I'm looking forward to his book. Good luck to him and his partner Tom in all their endevors.
Thanks for the update, V.

He is so talented! It is such a shame that he is not coming back. Mad Men is one of my favorite shows and it won't be the same without Sal. I'm guessing he takes his own life?

I am so overdue for a trip to New Orleans! Can you believe I've never been and I live in Houston? Shameful, I know!

Love Bryan! He should design furniture specifically for NOLA shotgun houses.
