Thank you Valorie for sharing these wonderful clippings of Ms. Audrey ... indeed the "mother" and Sine qua non of STYLE!
Been following diligently your blog ... a true visual inspiration in so many and varied ways... Chapeaux!

WOW : )
ps i felt compelled to twitter about this post! so wonderful!
How breathtakingly beautiful was she?
My favourite picture of her is actually the Unicef portrait because her true goodness and caring nature shines through. I had the great fortune to meet her once and feel incredibly lucky that I did. Lovely tribute Valorie, xv.
Oh, too fabulous for words ...
Oh, she is lovely! A role model in so many ways! xo
What a beautiful collection of images. Audrey was also an iconic diva to men with "flair". I never miss her movies when they air on TCM.
A lovely tribute! Hope you are well!
thank you so much. frankly, I shed a slight tear looking at images of such an amazing woman and delight in the impact that she had on fashion, but more importantly, strive to be as productive in the 'let's-make-this-world-a-better-place-to -live' arena as the spectacular Hepburn.
Truly a one of a kind woman/muse/actress/humanitarian/human.
yay.
That was a sweet tribute...thanks for sharing!
No one can compare to her.
What a collection of Audrey!
Oh, how I love Audrey Hepburn. This post makes me want to watch one of her movies today. She was truly one of a kind!
You made me smile today. I adore Audrey, now & forever.
Thanks for your beautiful post.
Cheers!
Thank you so much!
Alright, drop the ciagarette holder and hand over the blue office! Sigh.
What a truly beautiful post and tender remembrance of the incomparable Audrey Hepburn. And leave it to the Vamp to find images of her I had never seen before. This is one of my favorites Miz. V, so if you're "stat counter" starts kicking, it's just me taking another look.
Oh, and so glad you included pics of the "party scene" from Breakfast at Tiffany's. That party scene is one of the most amusing in film history. Speaking of party scenes, it's a big night "chez you" ce soir. Hang the mirrors and let the mascara run!
What a visual delight!!! Audrey has always been my favorite.
I was so lucky to have been in Florence, Italy in the spring of 1999...when the Salvatore Ferragamo store hosted a 70th birthday celebration (tribute) for Audrey.
Below the store in there 'Shoe Museum' was a treasure trove of all things "Audrey", from her famous movie dresses to the vespa she rode in Roman Holiday, all of the scripts from her movies ( with her hand written notes ), personal letters and photos and even her own 'real life' wedding dresses.
It really felt like you were getting the chance to peak into her life behind the scenes... it was an experience I hadn't thought about for a long while... thanks for writing and sharing all of these fantastic pix and bring in all back into memory! What a glorious woman she was!!!!!
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
