HGTV Myles of Style Report
What I love about Kim Myles is that she is a round and curvy gal. She has the cutest wardrobe. The camera loves her, and she loves the camera, which means she loves you the viewer who is on the other side of the camera. I think a designer should be easy on the eyes. Last year's Design Star winner David Bromstad certainly is easy on the eyes in another way. If he weren't so goofy, his good looks could make one squirm a bit.
Her first show, which debuted last night, after the painfully cheezy HGTV Dream Home Giveaway show, was as expected. She's very upbeat, but not corny. The editing of the show is more snappy than usual. Her ideas are good. She hasn't hit her stride yet, and she's not expected to. After all this is her very first foray into professional interior decorating and design. She's got talent, and she's like one our girlfriends that has made good.

Yes. That's one of the things I enjoyed about her winning is that she wasn't a professional yet. She was a true discovery.
