Clipping File - Pairs of Tables In Interior Design

Valorie Hart living room with pair of eBay tables

Pair of rustic benches used as coffee tables

Pair of classic Parsons tables AND a small Saarinen like side table

Low Asian African style tables AND ceramic garden seat

Parsons tables again

French rectangular tables

Little accent tables are being used everywhere. Parsons, Tangier, garden seats, Saarinen, benches, stools, Morrocan, Lucite - they are replacing the huge coffee table used either in pairs or alone. Easy to move around, they take up less space. Mine are in the top photo, which I got on eBay for around $100. The are from the 1970's and have the original crackle finish. The top flips off and reverses to a cushion on the other side, converting them into little stools. I love them...

Oh my, so many tables. It's just like being in a Candy Store :)
I like multi-task tables (ie: the three nesting ones and the ones you own. Thanks for an informative and entertaining peek at what is out there on the Market.
